1. Donations as Voluntary Contributions
- All donations made to UniNetra are considered voluntary, non-commercial contributions.
- Donations are not payments for goods or services; they are acts of goodwill intended solely to support our charitable programs, including human welfare, animal care, environmental protection, and youth empowerment.
- Since donations are immediately directed towards ongoing projects and emergency aid, they are generally non-refundable.
2. Refund Policy
We recognize that errors can occur during the donation process. Refunds may be considered in the following limited cases:
- Duplicate Transactions: If a donor accidentally makes the same donation more than once.
- Technical Errors: If a payment gateway or system error results in an incorrect amount being charged.
- Unauthorized Transactions: If a donation was made fraudulently using a donor’s account or card without consent.
📌 Timeframe: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 working days from the date of donation.
📌 Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 15 working days, using the same payment method originally used.
3. Cancellation of Recurring Donations
- Donors who opt for monthly or recurring contributions may cancel their donations at any time by notifying us at [email protected].
- Cancellations will be applied to the next billing cycle. Any donations already processed cannot be refunded.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation, donors must:
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request.”
- Provide details including donor name, transaction ID, donation amount, and date of donation.
- State the reason for requesting a refund.
Our finance and compliance team will review each request with fairness and transparency.
5. Accountability & Transparency
- Every donation received by UniNetra is recorded, tracked, and reported in line with global NGO standards.
- Donors are encouraged to review our Annual Impact Reports and Financial Summaries, available on request, to see how funds are utilized.
- We are committed to using every rupee and dollar with integrity to maximize impact.
6. No Refund on Grants or Special Campaigns
- Contributions made through grant funding, emergency relief campaigns, or sponsorship programs are not eligible for refund, as they are allocated immediately for urgent needs.
- Donors supporting such campaigns will receive updates on how their contributions were used.
