3. Volunteer Rights
As a UniNetra volunteer, you have the right to:

4. Volunteer Responsibilities

- Commitment & Reliability – Arriving on time, fulfilling agreed responsibilities, and informing coordinators in case of absence.
- Respect for Communities – Treating beneficiaries, colleagues, and other volunteers with kindness and cultural sensitivity.
- Integrity & Honesty – Representing UniNetra truthfully and not engaging in fraud, corruption, or misrepresentation.
- Confidentiality – Protecting the privacy of individuals and sensitive organizational information.
- Professional Conduct – Avoiding discrimination, harassment, exploitation, or abuse of any kind.
- Safety Compliance – Following all safety guidelines during fieldwork, including disaster relief or medical aid activities.
5. Safeguarding & Child Protection
UniNetra is deeply committed to creating a safe environment for children, women, and vulnerable individuals. Volunteers must:
- Never exploit, abuse, or neglect any person under UniNetra’s care.
- Avoid physical punishment, inappropriate contact, or harmful behavior.
- Report any suspected abuse or misconduct immediately to UniNetra’s safeguarding team.
- Obtain consent before photographing or sharing stories of children or beneficiaries.
Failure to comply with safeguarding rules will result in immediate termination of volunteer status and possible legal action.
6. Health, Safety & Wellbeing
Volunteers play a vital role in emergency aid, animal care, and environmental programs. For their wellbeing and that of the community, they must:
- Follow all safety protocols in disaster or field operations.
- Use protective gear where required (masks, gloves, etc.).
- Report injuries, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Abstain from drugs, alcohol, or misconduct during volunteer service.
7. Representation of UniNetra
Volunteers are ambassadors of UniNetra. Therefore:
- Public statements, media interactions, or use of UniNetra’s name/logo must be pre-approved by the coordination team.
- Social media posts related to UniNetra must be respectful, accurate, and uphold our values.
- Volunteers must avoid political campaigning or personal fundraising under UniNetra’s identity without authorization.
8. Anti-Discrimination & Equal Opportunity
UniNetra provides an inclusive volunteering environment. Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or socio-economic background will not be tolerated. We celebrate diversity and believe it strengthens our impact.
9. Accountability & Disciplinary Measures
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in:
